Comments: Wow, was this tasty! I found this great recipe in a cookbook and once I saw pineapples were part of the ingredients, I knew I would love it! It was also a hit with the hubby!
Ingrediants:
29 oz. can tomato sauce
20 oz crushed pineapple, undrained
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp. instant minced onion (I left this out of mine)
1 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 lbs. chicken, skinned and cubed (I used 4 whole boneless skinless chicken breast)
11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained (I forgot to add the oranges, but will definitely remember next time!)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except chicken and oranges and pour into crock pot. Place chicken in crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Just before serving, stir in oranges. Serve over rice.
