Baby Back Ribs

Rating: 5 stars (and worth every star!)

Estimate Cost: $20 or less (cheaper if you already have some of the seasonings)

Comments: There is one word that sums up this dish...AMAZING! I got this great recipe from my sister-in-law and am so glad I tried it! I have never cooked ribs before, let alone in a crockpot. It's not only super tasty but easy too! The meat literally falls off the bone. Amazing!

Ingredients:
1 rack of baby back ribs
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1 tbs paprika
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
3/4 tsp black pepper
3/4 tsp white pepper
3/4 tsp ground oregano
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp sugar

Directions:
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl an mix together (everything but the BBQ sauce). Rub mixture over the surface of the ribs. Place ribs in the crock pot standing on their edge with the meaty side out. Cook on low for 7 hours. Remove ribs from crockpot and brush with BBQ sauce.

  1. I've never had ribs before and was a little nervous as to whether or not I'd like them when Kelly made them for a family dinner one night... I have to admit these were INCREDIBLE. Everyone kept commenting on how they were the best ribs they've ever had... and we have some serious rib lovers in our family. Definitely a must try recipe... I can't wait to test it out myself!
